There will also most likely be significant swelling and tenderness after the procedure is completed, and so you will want to take time off work so that you can recuperate properly.

As well, there is the possibility of blood or fluid retention under the skin, and there could also be a crusting of the face lift scars, or numbness, for example. Also, the risk of nerve damage or infection after a facelift is low, but the possibility of it still does exist, and so again, this needs to be taken into consideration as well.

As long as you make sure that you find a qualified and experienced surgeon, then you should not have any problems that are not normal, but remember that there are certainly certain ones that should be expected, such as scarring, tightness, and incredible soreness.
