Ski Vacation

Impress Your Lover With A Romantic Ski Vacation

Christmas and Valentines Day is coming and you just do not know what to get your loved one. Why not surprise here with a romantic ski vacation? There is nothing more romantic than spending some alone time with your lover in the slopes, cuddling next to a fire. It is also a lot of fun to spend the day without any worries skiing or snowboarding. A romantic ski vacation offers a great balance of romance for the ladies and adventure for the men.

When To Go

Obviously the best time to go on a romantic ski vacation is in the winter. However, you do not want to take your romantic ski vacation when everyone else is. Once you have a place selected near you, try to find or inquire the most popular days.

Romantic can be automatically spoiled by crowds. Also, check the weather for the area to avoid strong winds or storms. Going on a day where they would have a light snow fall would be perfect.

What To Bring

You can never know for certain what to bring until you know what the place offers. Take a few minutes to be a good planner and call ahead of time. Ask if they offer ski or snowboard rentals and inquire about what else they offer. For your romantic ski vacation, it is best to bring clothes that vary from light wind weather to heavy snow storm weather. Some other things that would be a great idea to bring to heat up the romance are you and your lover’s favorite bottle of wine and glasses, a camera, massage oils, and candles. It may sound silly, but you might want to bring some board games or card games just in case you and your lover get snowed into your room.

How To Present A Romantic Ski Vacation As A Gift

You can just say, “Honey, we are going on a romantic ski vacation”, but where is the fun in that? Sweep them off their feet with a more romantic approach. You can give them warm mittens and hat and tell them then. Or you could give them a framed picture of the place you are going. A more expensive approach would be to buy them skis and a full skiing outfit. To really spice up the moment, make them a candlelight dinner and bring it up. Or you can just completely surprise them by hiding their slope ticket somewhere random for them to find it or to just take them there blindfolded.
